The Serenity has been meticulously crafted using the highest quality oak and cut at 45 degree angles for parquet perfection.
Chevron parquet flooring dates back to the 16th century where it adorned the wealthiest French palaces and chateaus. Viewed as a symbol of status and sophistication, hardwood flooring replaced stone and marble installations that were difficult to source and repair. The classic grade engineered oak showcases the natural charm and character of the Serenity’s 510mm long planks. Crisp, clean boards are interspersed with planks littered with natural grain patterns, knots and imperfections for a perfectly balanced flooring installation.
The planks are finished with raw matt lacquer that further highlights the quality of the lumber as well as delivering everlasting protection.
Seamless installation is guaranteed with the Saxon collection’s tongue and groove joining mechanism. The smooth Serenity planks can be joined together effortlessly and installed above any subfloor. The ‘T&G’ mechanism fosters stability, reducing the probability of gaps and streamlining installation, whether undertaken by DIY enthusiasts or professional installers.
