Our Kensington Grand Heritage engineered oak flooring has random length boards starting at 300mm and going up to 1200mm. This will create a non-uniform pattern during the installation and make the flooring appear long-established.
The high-quality 5mm solid oak wear layer has been mechanically brushed delivering an elegant and textured surface. The thickness of the boards are 18mm and this means the flooring can withstand low to moderate foot traffic.
Slightly wider boards of 150mm give the Grand Heritage its regal name. We like to offer our customers a variation of style and dimensions so that they can make the best decision for their interior designs. The sibling in the Kensington range is the Heritage and aside from the board width these products are identical.
The Grand Heritage engineered wood planks are combed with a wire brushed to highlight the grain patterns and bring out the natural contours and textures associated with real wood. This technique helps light bounce off the flooring and create a striking visual that will turn heads and instantly elevate your interiors.
Here at Lumber King Flooring we only use hard wax oils on our wood floors, we want to make sure all of our products are the very best quality on the market. Hardwax oil is a more viscous substance and requires more time and effort to apply to each board. The natural finish means the brushed grain is enhanced but more importantly the full board is protected as the oil soaks right through the solid oak veneer and down into the robust plywood base.
