Our Kensington Heritage engineered oak flooring is a modern classic with a brushed and oiled finish to highlight the natural characteristics of the product. The classic grade heritage has the perfect parity of B,C and D boards blended together to create a stylish and durable floor. Customers will notice characterful knots, harmonic natural colour, grain patterns and small amounts of sap.
Here at Lumber King Flooring we only use hard wax oils on our wood floors, we want to make sure all of our products are the very best quality on the market. Hard wax oil is a more viscous substance and requires more time and effort to apply to each board. The natural finish means the brushed grain is enhanced but more importantly the full board is protected as the oil soaks right through the solid oak veneer and down into the robust plywood base.
The Kensington Heritage planks are random lengths starting at 300mm and going up to 1200mm. This will create a non-uniform pattern during the installation and make the flooring appear long-established. The thickness of the boards are 18mm and this means the flooring can withstand moderate to high foot traffic.
