In the late 1600’s real wood flooring would have been sanded and polished to achieve a flawless, smooth finish. As trends and technology have advanced we have skillfully crafted floors with brushed surfaces to draw out the natural character and textures associated with premium oak. The Heritage has utilised this technique to create striking, narrow planks of organic beauty.
The 90mm narrow width Heritage planks can be used to make rooms appear larger and work best in smaller living areas. The random length planks create a flooring masterpiece that is completely unique to your space. Indeed, no two installations of our majestic Tudor collection are the same as each box supplied contains varied length planks for non-uniform perfection.
The Heritage planks are protected from surface to base with viscous hard wax oil that penetrates deep into all the natural fibres. This matt effect finish excels in brighter, radiant interiors that benefit from an abundance of lighting. This oiled finish showcases the detailed brushing and character of the lumber as unlike UV lacquer it does not sit proud on the top of the wood.
